There are about 5,589 registered voters in Ward 8.
Their party affiliation breaks down as follows:
Undeclared: 2,202
Republican: 1,925
Democratic: 1,462
So, running as a Democrat, I know I'm an underdog right out of the gate. But I believe that Ward 8 voters want CHANGE, and I can be the vehicle of that change. With strong voter turnout, this campaign can be successful and bring the positive change we need to keep Ward 8 moving forward.
WARD 8 VOTER TURNOUT
Year after year, Ward 8 is consistently the SECOND-BEST ward in Manchester for voter turnout (Ward 1 has had the best voter turnout for decades).
Every election cycle I watch the numbers, hoping that this time Ward 8 will pull off a win in this category.
I'll be knocking on doors throughout the ward to remind folks to get out and vote.
If this cycle is the one where Ward 8 steps up and tops the voter turnout list, I have no doubt we can achieve the change we need.
